Co-working, Co-facturing for robotics and electronic hardware

Updated March 31st. This post is to advise you of Circuit Launch’s policy response to the public health threat of COVID-19 otherwise known as Coronavirus.

Please note we are at Level 1 Circuit Launch is not available for normal operations

Due to an order from the Alameda County for all non essential businesses to close and observe “Shelter in place” restrictions Circuit Launch is not available for normal operations.

Circuit Launch is monitoring the global pandemic and the local Bay Area situation very closely.

To reduce the risk of infection to members and community we are instigating a number of preventative measures within the facility:

  • Provision of hand sanitizing stations at the entrance and throughout the facilities.
  • Increasing the daily sanitizing process within the facility – wiping down shared surfaces such as door handles, taps, shared surfaces, fridges etc.
  • Signage in restrooms and other common areas to remind everyone to wash their hands regularly.
  • We will also enact a series of responses should the public health threat level increase.

The following protocols will apply:

L5: Everything is fine. No restrictions
Purell dispensers clearly shown. Clear signage about handwashing placed at the entrance & in restrooms. People who are coughing are encouraged to leave.

L4: Heightened awareness/vigilance. Confirmed cases in Alameda County
People who are coughing are asked to leave. Those who have been to foreign cities with a major outbreak or in contact with those who have been to outbreak cities in the past month are asked to stay away until a month has passed.

L3: (when >10 cases in Alameda County) Closed to large events.
Non-member events are cancelled. Events will be closed off to the public. Please confirm

L2: (when >20 cases in Alameda county) Closed to all events and non-members.
Only members with digital keys are allowed on premise. We are asking our members to please cancel and reschedule guests, tours, family, and friend access, and to not have meetings with non-members at our facility.

L1: (when Alameda County Department of Public Health formally recommends or mandates closure or citizens avoid congregating) The facility is not available for normal operations.

Acknowledgement of increased risk at this facility:

Please note that due to individuals with a higher risk profile of public exposure entering this building, we are subject to increased risk in the possibility of transmission of the COVID-19 virus. We highly encourage EVERYONE to wash or sanitize their hands immediately after entering through our doors.

We do not tolerate any discrimination. Please treat everyone with respect, there is no need to take any other actions at this time other than to wash or sanitize your hands immediately upon entering.

We thank you for your consideration and vigilance!
